To understand what makes us different from a standard recruiting agency, one simply needs to know what we do not do.
- We do not recruit for positions outside of the engineering field, and we specialize in Maintenance Management. That is because we know we can't effectively screen candidates for disciplines that we do not have expertise in ourselves.
- We do not have a list of candidates waiting for you to call. You don't want people that can't find a job in a reasonable amount of time, so old resumes are useless. You also don't want an applicant that is ready to jump ship from his or her present job as soon as something perceived to be better comes along.
- We do not place an ad, and then send you a stack of resumes of all those that responded. You could do that without paying a fee with an equal chance for success.
- We will never send any candidate to you that we would not hire ourselves. We expect you to tell others about our service, and we want your words to reflect a positive outcome.
What we do:
- Begin our search only after we have a client and understand client needs.
- Target our search to resources that have proven to provide excellent candidates.
- Make sure that what we look for in a candidate is what you want for an employee. In management candidates, this includes both technical competency and management skills.
- Personally interview those applicants that appear qualified based on their resume.
- Those that successfully pass the interview process will be given a 153 question professionally developed test that has been proven to have a strong correlation to performance.
- One or two strong candidates will then be presented for client interview(s).
We would not expect any client to hire one of our candidates without a thorough interview process, but they could. We are proud to have a success rate above 90% based on management satisfaction after one year of employment.
We also offer training to Maintenance Managers to improve their skills in the technical hiring process and will serve as a part of their screening process upon request.
